St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church at 235 6th Avenue on the corner of Carroll Street in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City, was built in 1904 and was designed by Thomas Houghton in the Gothic Revival style. It is built of granite trimmed with Indiana limestone. The parish was founded in 1886, and built a church that same year. When the parish outgrew it, it was moved to President Street, where it still serves as the parish's youth center. (Source: Church website)
